The Relativity app brings together plays from L.A. Theatre Works Relativity Series, featuring a collection of science-themed plays. Each play includes a full-cast audio theatre production, the text of the play synced to the performance, author and cast bios, plus other extras. Major funding for the Relativity Series is provided by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, to enhance public understanding of science and technology in the modern world. L.A. Theatre Works is a non-profit media arts organization based in Los Angeles. Our mission is to record and preserve great performances of important stage plays, maximizing the use of new technologies to make world-class theatre accessible to the widest possible audience, and expand the use of theatre as a teaching tool.
